この度廊下の絨毯を張り替えました。
40年以上頑張ってくれてた絨毯、ツギハギだらけでした。愛着もなくはなかったけれど新しくしたらすごく歩きやすくなって快適です。
予算内でできる範囲での選択。サンプルとにらめっこしていたら一人旅の女の子が選ぶのを手伝ってくれたり。これだと色調が合わないかもと言われて、また一からスタッフのみんなと選び直して、最終的に建築士さんに相談をして。
結果どこか新しくなった⁉️くらい普通😅
ということはガーデンヴィラの雰囲気に合っているということなので、それでよいのでした。
We recently had the carpet in the hallway replaced.
The old carpet had served us well for over 40 years, but it was full of patches. I was certainly attached to it, but now that it’s new, it’s much easier to walk on and feels so much more comfortable.
We made our choices within our budget. While we were poring over the samples, a girl traveling by herself, gave us an advice. She mentioned that this particular one might not match the color scheme, so we started all over again.
The result? It looks so ordinary, you might wonder if anything has even changed! 😅
But that just means it fits the atmosphere of the Garden Villa, so that’s just fine.
