Regarding the Opening of the Japan Visa Application Centre
In order to provide better service and convenience to those applying for visas, we have decided to open the Japan Visa Application Centre (JVAC) to accept and issue visa applications.
The Japan Visa Centre by VFS Service Philippines, Inc. is scheduled to begin its operation on April 7 2025.

Business Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 4:00PM
Application Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 2:00PM (Parañaque, Makati, Quezon City)
Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 12:00NN (Cebu, Davao)
Releasing: Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 4:00PM
(The center will be closed on Saturday, Sundays, and when the Embassy is closed)

*There are five branches in the Philippines (Parañaque City, Makati City, Quezon City, Cebu City, and Davao City), so please check the addresses of each branch at the above link.

Notes:
(1) Visa application at the center will incur a visa fee and a center usage fee (520 pesos).
* Fee may vary depending on nationality and application
(2) Visa fee and center usage fee must be paid at the time of application.

1. Applications will no longer be accepted at the accredited agencies on April 6 2025. Please note that from April 7 2025, applications will be accepted at the Japan Visa Application Center.
*Please note that if you applied through an accredited agency before April 6 2025, the release of your passport will also be at the agency where you applied.
2. For cases related to diplomatic or official passports, or urgent cases requiring humanitarian consideration, please contact our Embassy or the nearest Cebu or Davao Consulate.
