今日から高木神社例大祭が始まりました！
本日は神酒所開き。
東向島1丁目のあすなろ公園、露伴公園に神酒所が建ち、奉納金受付も始まります。
6日は朝から子供神輿の渡御、大太鼓の巡行。
午後からは大人神輿の渡御があります。
朝はお子様、昼からはお父さん、お母さん貸し半纏借りてご参加ください！
7日は朝からあおり獅子の巡行。
子供達の参加を待ってます！
何処でリストバンドを配ります！
お菓子詰め合わせと交換になります！
また、土曜日、日曜日は1部地域で通行止めが発生します！
皆様お気をつけください！

The Takagi Shrine Annual Festival, begins now!
Today, the 5th, is the opening of the sacred sake distribution area.
Festival rest station area will be set up in Asunaro Park and Rohan Park in Higashi-Mukojima 1-chome, and donations will be accepted.
On the 6th, there will be a children's portable shrine procession and a large drum parade from the morning.
In the afternoon, there will be a procession of the adult portable shrine.
Children in the morning, and fathers and mothers in the afternoon, please borrow a hanten coat and participate!
On the 7th, there will be a Aori Shishi (lion dance)procession from the morning.
We are waiting for children to participate!
Wristbands will be distributed at various locations!
They can be exchanged for a snacks assortment!
Also, there will be road closures in some areas on Saturday and Sunday!

I look forward to the different designs each month.
This month's font is an original, high-contrast sans-serif typeface.
The strokes have been given a greater sense of depth, creating a typeface with a wavy feel.
This month's advertisement is for Lokanta, the lasagna and world cuisine restaurant on the first floor of Sumidanagaya!
This calendar can be printed from the multi-copy machines at your nearest Seven-Eleven until 11:59 PM on Tuesday , Jun 16th.

I’m surprised we’ve reached the halfway point of the year.
Time flies!
The hot summer is coming.
I don’t like the heat, so I hope it passes quickly!
I recently received a watercolor painting from a guest who stayed at Sumidanagaya.
It’s really lovely.
The colors are great too.
Receiving things like this really makes me feel glad I run Sumidanagaya.

1年の折り返し迄来たんだとびっくりします。1年が早い！
これから暑さが厳しい夏が来ます。
暑いのが苦手なのであっという間に過ぎ去ってほしいー！

This weekend, we’re hosting a pop-up exhibition by Okawa Glass Inc.,on the first floor of Sumidanagaya!
This weekend is the final week of the pop-up exhibition!
Until May 10th!
The product being featured and sold at this exhibition by Okawa Glass Inc., Ltd. is the “CHYKYU BIN Socks.”
The CHYKYU BIN was released in 1976, making this its 50th anniversary!
To commemorate the 50th anniversary, they created original CHYKYU BIN socks!
The socks are made by Taiko Co., Ltd., a company in Nagano Prefecture that has been making socks and other products since 1949.
They’ve adapted their original brand “AMITABI” with an CHYKYU BIN design.
Please try the comfortable, three-dimensional fit!

1976年に発売され今年で50年！
発売50年を記念してオリジナルの地球びん靴下を作られました！
制作は長野県で1949年から靴下などを作られている株式会社タイコーさんのオリジナルブランド”AMITABI”を地球びんデザインにして頂いています。

This weekend, we’re hosting a pop-up exhibition by Okawa Glass Inc. on the first floor of Sumidanagaya!
This time, we’re featuring Okawa Glass Inc., Ltd.’s “BINCOP” for sale.
These are glass bottles shaped like cups, made from 100% recycled used glass bottles, aiming for horizontal recycling.
In fact, the glass products we normally use are not recycled but discarded.
Pins can be recycled, but glass cannot.
The packaging is stylish, making them perfect as gifts!
At Sumidanagaya, we’re selling original Bottle Cups and Bottle Cups printed with the Berså pattern, a collaboration with Swedish designer Stig Lindberg!

水平リサイクルを目指して使用済みガラス瓶を100%リサイクルして作られたコップの形をしたガラス瓶です。
実は普段使用しているガラス製品はリサイクルでは無く廃棄となります。
ピンはリサイクルできますがガラスはリサイクルできないのですね。

The doors can be locked from the inside.
While the semi-private rooms are not completely private, the addition of these doors will further enhance guests’ privacy.
Sumidanagaya will continue to make improvements to ensure guests have a comfortable stay.

半個室にドアが付きました。
ドアには内側から鍵をかける事が可能です。
半個室は完全な個室ではありませんがこのドアが付くことでゲストのプライベートは更に向上する事でしょう。
墨田長屋は今後もゲストに快適に過ごしていただくために改良を行なっていきます。

Today, we'll introduce some of the products from Okawa Glass Inc. that are on display and for sale!
This time, it's the "CHYKYU BIN."
"CHIKYU" means Earth in Japanese.
It was Okawa Glass Inc.'s first original product in 1976.
