We have chosen warm, incandescent-coloured bulbs for all the lighting. The shape of the light fittings has been selected to suit their specific locations.

Around the bar, we have chosen small, exposed pendant lights and adjusted their position so that the light falls around the faces. This is a design choice intended to create a bright, warm atmosphere.

"Mysterious Clock"

Even before we opened Chapter Two, this building was a hostel, and we used to work there. That’s where the name ‘Chapter Two’ comes from.

We’ve kept a few items from the previous hostel here at Chapter Two, and this clock is one of them. It’s just an ordinary clock, but it’s been ticking away for a long time. It does run slow from time to time, but it always springs back to life and starts ticking away as if nothing had happened—it’s a rather mysterious clock.
