Moto Hotel
Moto Hotel

It's that time again—the scaffolding is finally coming down.
In the summer of 2024, we stood on an unassuming street corner in Ueno, Tokyo, looking at two aging buildings. We envisioned something different: a landmark that would one day stand proudly on this very site.
Moto Hotel didn't begin with a building—it began with a piece of land.
From land acquisition and site evaluation to architectural planning, exterior design, building permit applications, contractor selection, construction supervision, furniture, lighting, interior furnishings, and equipment selection, we have led every step of the development process. Even the discussions and revisions with structural engineers over the steel-frame design took weeks. Every time the plans were sent back for revision, it only strengthened our belief: we wanted to build quickly, but even more importantly, we wanted to build it right.
When planning the room layouts, we didn't aim to maximize the number of rooms. Instead, we chose to give more space back to our guests. That's why we've created a rare two-bedroom apartment with a separate living room for up to four guests.
For families, it means parents and children each have their own space. For friends traveling together, the trip isn't just about sleeping in the same room—it's about sharing laughter, late-night snacks, and the stories of the day in the living room.
The spaces at Moto Hotel are designed to bring people together while still giving everyone the privacy they need.
We believe the value of a hotel stay isn't limited to the time you spend there. It's about creating memories that people will still cherish years later—memories that remind them of the joy they experienced in this city.
If you were spending five days in Tokyo with your family, would you choose two cramped business hotel rooms, or one spacious two-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen, where everyone can gather for late-night snacks and conversations?
See you in Ueno, August 2026.
