Traditional Apartmentは2015年8月に誕生したゲストハウスです。香川県高松市の中心部である瓦町駅東側の塩上町にあり、瓦町駅から徒歩１分の場所です。ここは昔、職人の町として栄えていました。約６０年前に建てられたこのアパートはペンキ職人の下宿所として多くの人が住んでいました。しかし、時代の変化とともに、車中心の郊外型の生活になり街の様子も変わってきました。昔の様に沢山の人で賑わう街を作るために、高松で生まれ育ったオーナーが立ち上がり作ったゲストハウスです。

Traditional Apartment is a guesthouse opened in August 2015. It is in Shiogami-cho on the Eastern side of Kawaramachi station, the center of Takamatsu City in
Kagawa prefecture, and it is one-minute walk from Kawaramachi station. Before, Kawaramachi used to be a prosper craftsmen’s town. The apartment was built about 60 years ago and many painters lived here. However, the city has changed overtime, as time brought the suburban car-centric lifestyle. The guesthouse was created by the owner who was born and raised in Takamatsu City, to revive the animated city like in the old days.
