8月14日、とまる15周年。
なんでこんな忙しい時期にオープンしたんだろうと思うけど、お盆前にはオープンしたいと開業準備を頑張ったけど、間に合わずのお盆と真ん中オープンでした。
15周年は特にイベントはせず、ラウンジ開き的に開催でしたが、たくさんの友人や元スタッフが集まってくれ、また宿泊ゲストさんからもお祝いの言葉を頂き、賑やかな中で15周年を迎えることが出来、ほんと感謝です。
また来年以降も、お盆に実家に帰る気分で遊びにきてくれたら嬉しいです。
そしてこれまで、とまるに泊まりに来てくれたゲストの皆様、ほんとありがとうございます。また機会がありましたら是非遊びにきてください。それまでとまるがここにあるように頑張ります。
August 14th marked Tomaru’s 15th anniversary.
I sometimes wonder why I chose to open during such a busy time of year. I had worked hard to get everything ready before the Obon holiday, but I didn't quite make it, so the opening ended up happening right in the middle of that period.
We didn't hold a special event for the 15th anniversary—it was more of a casual "lounge opening" style gathering—but so many friends and former staff members came by, and we received congratulatory messages from our guests as well.
It was a lively celebration, and I am truly grateful. I hope that in the coming years, you’ll continue to visit us—feeling just like you’re coming home to your family’s house for Obon.
And to all the guests who have stayed at Tomaru over the years: thank you so much. Please do come visit again if you have the chance. I’ll be working hard to ensure Tomaru is still here waiting for you.
