It’s already been a week since I returned home from the Aikido seminar in Mase, Switzerland.

And I’ve already received an invitation to join the same seminar again in 2027.

I’m truly grateful for this wonderful opportunity.

I’m already looking forward to seeing everyone again and training together next year!

And now, I’m off to guide a group up Mt. Fuji !

Aikido Geneva Takemusu Dojo The 6-day Aikido International Seminar has begun!

It's a great joy to exchange "Ki" with so many aikidoka from around the world.
I'm already full of energy after the very first day.

Rest day before 6 days of Aikido!

Started the morning with a trip to the bakery in the neighboring village to order fresh bread for tomorrow. On the way back, we stopped by the community center in Mase to make sure everything is ready for the seminar.

Couldn't spend the whole day resting though... we squeezed in about an hour on a via ferrata, followed by a nice relaxing lunch.

Now it's time to take it easy and get ready for 6 great days on the mat.

I went hiking with my Aikido Geneva Takemusu Dojo ⁹family today.
We started from Col de la Forclaz, hiked up to Mont de l'Arpille, and completed a beautiful loop back to where we started.
The climb was quite steep, so we chanted the Shugendo Kake Nenbutsu: "Zange, Zange, Rokkon Shōjō" (懺悔懺悔 六根清浄).
It reminded me that Shugendo isn't something practiced only in Japan—you can practice it anywhere, as long as you're in the mountains.

Another beautiful day in the Alps.

The weather has been fantastic ever since I arrived.

Today, I hiked from L'Index to Lac Noir, crossed Col Cornu, and continued down to the Planpraz cable car station.
Although it's only about a 2.5-hour hike, it's one of my favorite routes, with a great mix of scenic trails and a few technical sections that make it both fun and rewarding.

In the afternoon, I headed over to Saint-Gervais for a bit of shopping.

I'm making the most of every day before the Aikido seminar begins.

Another beautiful day in the Alps.

Together with my friends from Aikido Geneva Takemusu Dojo , we took the cable car up to Aiguille du Midi early morning and hiked from Plan de l'Aiguille to the Montenvers–Mer de Glace station.

It was a truly wonderful hike shared with amazing friends, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Alps.

Today’s forecast called for perfect weather, so I hiked the same route I did last year—from Index to Lac Blanc, then down to Argentière.

I believe this is part of the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB), and I passed countless guided groups along the way. Even so, the stunning alpine scenery made it an unforgettable hike.

Another beautiful day in the Alps.
I went hiking to Lac d'Emosson with my friends from Aikido Geneva Takemusu Dojo .
Unlike the busy trails around Chamonix, this area was much quieter, allowing us to fully enjoy the breathtaking scenery. A truly wonderful hike!
