We have two new staff members joining us from January to February✨
Rosie from England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Yaya from Taiwan🇹🇼.
We went to Kamikura Shrine in Shingu and had dinner at a bar. They are a wonderful ❤️

In May, we said goodbye to our regular staff Tomo and our former manager Nao.
And today, it’s my turn—I’m Yosuke, and I’m also saying farewell to this guesthouse.
Throughout our time here, we’ve had so many beautiful encounters.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing such memorable moments with us.

May this place continue to be a warm space that brings comfort to everyone who visits.

Our open-air baths are a favorite among our guests.
While summer can be hot, it’s also a season of local fireworks festivals and refreshing swims in the river—offering a unique way to enjoy life in this town.

We are currently looking for international staff to join us on a working holiday program starting from August 1st.
If you are interested in experiencing summer in the Japanese countryside—not just walking the Kumano Kodo—this is a great opportunity.

Applications are welcome from one-month stays.

昨日で約2ヶ月強、スタッフとして来てくれていたオーストラリアからのChristineが去りました。最近では長めにここに滞在してくれた1人で、あらゆる仕事をこなしてくれ、頼りになる存在でした。Christineはとてもアクティブでアウトドア、中でもトレランやハイキングなどに積極的な女の子でした。滞在期間中も休みの度に熊野古道にトライし、連休にはバックパックを背負って道中キャンプや野宿をしながらハイレベルな熊野古道にも果敢にトライするタフなかっこいい女の子でした！

そんな中、ひっそりと彼女がこんな素敵なものを宿に残していってくれました。滞在期間中にトライした熊野古道、及び湯の峰温泉周辺の情報や知識について。日頃私たちがゲストの方から質問されまくる内容が一瞬で解決できるような、そんな有料級のかなり網羅されたオリジナルメモ、いや、もはやガイドブック！ここに来たゲストの疑問を解決してくれ、また、彼女のアドバイスによってここでの滞在がより充実したものになること間違いなしです。ぜひ手に取ってみてください。

Christine from Australia, who had been working as a staff member for a little over two months, left yesterday. She was one of the people who had been staying here for a long time recently, and she was reliable, doing all kinds of work. Christine was a very active girl who was very into the outdoors, especially trail running and hiking. During her stay, she tried the Kumano Kodo trail every time she had a day off, and during consecutive holidays, she backpacked and camped along the way, and boldly tried the high-level Kumano Kodo trail. She was a tough girl! So cool.

In the midst of all this, she quietly left this amazing thing at our guesthouse. It was information and knowledge about the Kumano Kodo trail and the Yunomine Onsen area that she tried during her stay. It's a paid-for, fairly comprehensive original memo, or rather, a guidebook, that will answer all the questions we get from our guests in an instant! It's sure to answer the questions of the guests who come here. Please take a look!

Beautiful pink flowers have bloomed at the entrance. They are so beautiful that they almost look like artificial flowers. They also looked lovely when placed in a vase.

The staff from J-hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse and You Got It Bar held a joint welcome and farewell party.
Today marked the last day for dinner bento orders.
The dinner bento was well-received by the guests.
We ordered hors d'oeuvres from the bento shop "BOND," which always prepares our bentos, and everyone enjoyed the meal together.
The fried chicken disappeared in an instant and was very popular.
Thank you for making such delicious food.

本日で夕食のお弁当の注文が終了しました。
お客様に夕食のお弁当が好評でした。
いつもお弁当を作ってくれるお弁当屋さん「BOND」にオードブルを注文して、皆んなで食べました。
からあげは一瞬でなくなり人気でした。
美味しい料理を作ってくださりありがとうございました。

中辺路上の三軒茶屋辺りに咲き、保護されている『バイカオウレン』。咲いていると知り見に行ってきました。
数日前から春の気配を感じるような天候になりました。
春はもうすぐそこまで....🌸
5枚目の花もまた違う種類なのか、同じ場所に沢山咲いてましたが一体何なんだろう。

そして宿の方も徐々に繁忙期の気配が....！

The protected "Baikaouren" blooms around Sangenjaya on Nakahechi. I heard that it was in bloom so I went to see it.
The weather has been feeling like spring for the past few days.
Spring is just around the corner....🌸
The flower in the fifth photo is also a different type, and there were many of them blooming in the same place, so I wonder what they are.

Our guesthouse is also gradually starting to show signs of a busy season....!
