かもめnb.は、2023年10月31日（火）をもって鳥羽市での宿泊事業（ゲストハウス）を終了します。

オープンから７年半、ご利用いただいた方、休業中に連絡をくれた方、元気かどうか訪ねて来てくれた方、いろいろと巻き込んでくれた方、巻き込んでしまった方・・・・・一言で済むわけはないのですが、ひとまずお許しください。本当に、ありがとうございました。

オーナーの鼻谷は引っ越しますが、これからもお仕事や地域活動で鳥羽にも来る予定です。このアカウントは、ライター業のほうでの発信用に活用していきます。

これからも、大好きな旅や地域のことに関わって、みなさんと楽しんでいきたいです。どうかよろしくお願いします。

I will be concluding my accommodation business (guesthouse) in Toba City on October 31, 2023.

It has been seven and a half years since I opened it. I sincerely thank everyone who visited here,contacted me during our closure,and supported me, and many more.

Although I am leaving Toba, I may continue to rely on your support for future projects.

近鉄鳥羽駅にある"かもめベイテラス鳥羽"さんは、席からの眺めがとても素敵です。

席から海と島の景色や駅のホームやバスのロータリーが見下ろせて、写真を撮るのにも楽しい場所ですよ。

At Toba Station, there is a cafe "comeonmet_bayterrace".

You can enjoy a lovely view from here, with a nice view of the sea, islands, the station platform, and the bus rotary from your seat.

And It's a great spot for taking photos.

今週末、鈴鹿で行われているF1レースのため、ここ鳥羽にもたくさんのファンの方が泊まりに来てくれています。

こちらの学生のお客さんも、携帯の座椅子を持って気合い十分。

はじめての生観戦にめちゃめちゃ感動😭しているそうです！

がんばれ！！！！！

This weekend, due to the F1 race in Suzuka, we have a lot of fans coming to Toba.

Onur student guest here is all set with his portable seat and ready for the excitement.

He seems to be absolutely thrilled with his first live race experience!

昨日、飛び込みでホステルにやって来たドイツ人のご夫婦。

アフリカや南米、アジアなどのいろいろな国を自転車で走ってきたそうです。今回、日本には6週間いて、東京から広島まで行く予定と言っていました。

自転車旅は天気次第だから、毎日、宿の予約はとっていないそうで、コンパクトなテントを積んでいました。

梅雨の時期だけど、なるべく天気に恵まれるとよいなあ。

Yesterday,KAMOMEnb. got a walk-in German couple.

They have cycled around various countries in Africa, South America, and Asia. They said they are planning to travel from Tokyo to Hiroshima over the course of six weeks.

Since bicycle touring is weather-dependent, they don't make any reservations and instead carry a compact tent with them.

Despite it being the rainy season, I hope they will have favorable weather.

The famous spectacular fireworks over the sea will make a comeback! The "Toba-Minato-Matsuri" festival is set to return on July 28th (Fri) after a four-year break!!!

鳥羽の城山公園は、新緑が鮮やかな季節になりました。

城山公園は明治初期までお城だった場所で、天守閣跡の周りにある石垣は古いもので趣があります。

天守閣のすぐ下にある鳥羽小学校の旧校舎は築100年近くとなる鉄筋コンクリート造の文化財です。

連休が明けて街中は静かになりましたが、海を見下ろしながらゆっくりと散歩していただくのには、ちょうどよい季節だと思いますよ。

写真の御城印は、鳥羽駅の観光案内所や鳥羽歴史文化ガイドセンター、鳥羽市観光協会で購入できます。

The Shiroyama Park in Toba has entered the vibrant season of fresh greenery.

It used to be a castle until the early Meiji period. The old stone walls that surround the site of Tenshukaku (castle tower) have a charming old-fashioned quality.

The former building of Toba Elementary School, located just below the site of Tenshukaku, is a cultural asset made of reinforced concrete and dating back almost 100 years.

Now, the park has become quiet after the long holiday, but I think it's the perfect season to take a leisurely walk while enjoying the view of the sea below.

The castle stamp shown in the photo can get at the Toba Station tourist information center, Toba Historical and Cultural Guide Center, or Toba City Tourist Association.

一方、こちらは本日深夜のかもめnb.です。関西方面から来られた学生さん4人でお泊まりです。そのうちのお2人は、さきほどラーメン食べにいくと言って、2時間ほど前に車で出ていきました。行くのは愛知県岡崎市のラーメン店だそうです。朝に戻って来てその日のうちに帰られるそうです。どうかお気を付けて。

On the other hand, this is Kamome nb. at midnight on the 4th.There are 4 university students staying here, but only 2 of them are staying now. They just left by car saying they were going to eat ramen noodles. When I asked them which ramen restaurant they were going to, they said Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. They will be back by morning and return to Osaka.Take care,please.

一昨日の朝、近所のファミマに荷台を連結した自転車が止まっているのを見つけました（サイクルトレーラーというらしい）。持ち主はカナダ人の男性でした。鹿児島から北海道まで行く途中なのだそう。「めちゃめちゃ道が混んでて大変だよ」と言っていました。それは大型連休ですから。このあとフェリーで伊良湖に渡って、いまはどこら辺を走っているんでしょうか。よい旅を。

I found a bicycle with a package attached to it parked in front of a nearby Family Mart two mornings ago. The owner is a Canadian. He is on his way from Kagoshima to Hokkaido. He says the road is very crowded. It must be because of GW. I wonder where he is riding now after going to Irago by ferry. Well, have a nice and safe trip.
