On Saturday, August 29, the 13th Shinmaiko Beach Festival Fireworks Display will light up the summer sky!
Spectacular fireworks launched from a barge floating offshore will illuminate the night sky over Shinmaiko. One of the festival’s highlights is the underwater starmine, a unique display that can be enjoyed from close range along the beach at Shinmaiko Marine Park.

The 57th Tokai Festival Fireworks Display will be held on August 8!
One of the region’s biggest summer events, this spectacular festival will light up the night sky with approximately 4,000 fireworks. Since the display takes place in the city center, you can enjoy the show from virtually anywhere in town.
The grand finale, the “Big Starmine,” is an impressive highlight, and the beautiful reflections of the fireworks on Oike Pond are not to be missed.
