Carrying a heavy camera and laptop on her back, she successfully completed all 88 temples. 👏✨

自転車にはたくさんのバッグ！🚲🇮🇹
荷物も上手くまとめられていて、旅慣れてる感じが伝わってきます✨

2人は下関をスタートし、しまなみ海道を渡った後に祖谷へ。そしてPAQに到着！
瀬戸内海の島々や祖谷渓谷の景色がとても綺麗だったそう🏝️⛰️
翌朝は南海フェリーで和歌山へ。
その後は東京を目指して旅を続けます🚲

もう30℃を超える日もちらほら☀️
熱中症に気をつけて、日本の旅を楽しんでね！

So many bags on their bikes! 🚲🇮🇹
Everything was packed and organized so well. It was easy to tell they were experienced travelers ✨

They started their journey in Shimonoseki, crossed the Shimanami Kaido, then visited Iya before arriving at PAQ!
They said the islands of the Seto Inland Sea and the Iya Valley were especially beautiful 🏝️⛰️
The next morning, they took the Nankai Ferry to Wakayama and continued their journey toward Tokyo 🚲

We’ve already had a few days over 30°C ☀️

Cycling all around Japan from Miyakojima to Hokkaido 🚴‍♂️🇯🇵.nomad

He stayed at PAQ for two rainy days here in Tokushima.
Bike trips don’t always go as planned — sometimes the rain keeps you from moving on.

But that’s also part of the adventure, and he was truly enjoying the journey☺️

Today finally brought blue skies again ☀️
Now heading toward southern Tokushima and Kochi!

Ride safe and enjoy the rest of your journey!

宮古島から北海道まで、自転車で日本一周中🚴‍♂️🇯🇵nomad

徳島では、2日間の雨宿りとしてPAQに滞在してくれました。

思い通りに進まない日もある。
雨で足止めされることもある。
でも、そんな“一筋縄ではいかない旅”も含めて楽しんでいる姿がとても印象的でした☺️

そして今日は久しぶりの晴天☀️
徳島県南〜高知方面へ向けて出発！

Finally… a ukulele player has appeared at PAQ!!! 🎶

Not only was the ukulele performance amazing, but the gentle singing voice was beautiful too.

And on top of that,
he casually picked up the guitar and played that beautifully as well 👏

Moments like these—when music suddenly begins during a journey—
really remind me why I love guesthouse life.

And by the way…
he was kind enough to teach a complete beginner like me, slowly and patiently 🥹

Thanks for the beautiful music and good vibes 🎶

ついにPAQに、ウクレレプレーヤーが現れました!!! 🎶
ウクレレの演奏はもちろん、
やさしい歌声も本当にステキ。
しかも、 さらっとギターまで弾きこなすという多才さ👏

旅先で偶然始まる音楽の時間って、
やっぱりいいなぁと思う。

ちなみに… 初心者の私にも、ゆっくり優しく教えてくれました🥹

Sunny days call for a walk to Tokushima Castle Park, just a few minutes from PAQ ☀️🌿
The azaleas are now in full bloom, and you can also find art installations around the park 🎨🌺
There’s no castle anymore… but it’s still a lovely place to explore and relax 😊

天気の良い日は、PAQ近くの徳島城公園へお散歩☀️🌿
今はツツジが見ごろ🌺
園内にはアート作品もあります🎨
お城はもうないけど…
のんびり楽しめる素敵な場所です😊

ここ数日、途中で見かけるお遍路さんは、ほとんど海外から来た方ばかりだったそうです🌏

このあとはみんなは居酒屋へ🍻
楽しんでね！そして本当にお疲れ様でした✨

They met during the pilgrimage and reunited at PAQ after completing their journeys! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇺🇸🇯🇵
They celebrated each other’s achievements 👏✨

Another pilgrim who had reached Temple 17 also joined them 🇦🇺
They had a great time sharing stories and information from the road 😊

Apparently, over the past few days, most of the pilgrims they’ve seen along the way were from overseas 🌏

After this, everyone headed out to an izakaya together 🍻
Enjoy the night, and congratulations to everyone on an amazing journey ✨
