The building of Kobayashiya is famous for its architecture of a three-story wooden construction with traditional construction methods. The current build

ing was constructed and opened after the Hokutan earthquake (1925) and it registered as a Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan (Registered in 2015). As of 1:00 PM on Feb 8, Kinosaki Onsen is covered in a beautiful blanket of snow (around 40–60 cm).
Some transportation delays are expected, so please check the latest updates before traveling. Stay safe and enjoy the winter scenery!

2月8日13時現在、城崎温泉周辺では40〜60cmの積雪が観測されており、交通機関への影響が出ています。お越し際は、最新の情報を必ずご確認ください。

◾️交通への影響：

・JR西日本：山陰線・舞鶴線・播但線などで、大雪の影響により特急列車が始発から終日運休しています。ローカル線の運転状況は最新の情報を確認してください。

・道路状況：高速道路各線で断続的な通行止めが発生しています。国道を走る際もノーマルタイヤは危険です。必ずスタッドレスタイヤかチェーンを着用してください。

・バス：全但バスなど一般路線バスも運行状況が不安定で、遅れや運休が発生しています。

We have chosen it as Kobayashiya’s New Year flower, with our hopes for a good year ahead.
