“未来への節目の月”
とも語られてきました。

私たちも今、
壮瞥町の大地とともに、
まだ見ぬワインの未来を育てています。

ぶどうが実り、
ワインとなり、
この土地の物語になるまで。

それは数年先へ続く挑戦。

洞爺湖や有珠山へと続く強力な「龍脈」の上に位置するパワースポット、虻田神社へ。
大きな鳥居をくぐると、そこには伝統とモダンが美しく融合した、まさにラグジュアリーな和の世界が広がっていました✨
手水舎（ちょうずや）を見上げると、色鮮やかな和傘とどこか可愛らしい提灯、そして風鈴の涼しげな演出が。力強い龍の口から清らかな水が流れ落ちる様子は、見ているだけで心がすーっと浄化されていくようです🐉

境内の片隅には、くり抜かれた自然石に溜まった水に、ひらひらと舞い落ちた桜の花びらと真っ赤な椿がそっと添えられていて、まるで一幅の絵画のような美しさ。
今の時期ならではの「茅の輪（ちのわ）くぐり」も体験でき、心身ともにしっかりとリフレッシュして、エネルギーをチャージできた贅沢な時間でした。

Visiting Abuta Shrine, a hidden spiritual gem sitting right on a powerful "Dragon Line" (energy pathway) that flows from Mt. Yotei through Lake Toya and Mt. Usu.
The moment you step through the grand red Torii gate, you are welcomed into a luxurious world of Japanese tradition blended beautifully with modern elegance.
At the Chozuya (water pavilion), a stunning canopy of vibrant traditional wagasa (oil-paper umbrellas), charming lanterns, and wind chimes dances in the breeze. Watching the pure water flow from the mouth of the powerful dragon is deeply soothing and purifying. (Make sure to turn the sound on for the video! 🔊)
Nestled in a quiet corner of the shrine, a rustic stone basin filled with water catches fluttering pink cherry blossom petals, accented perfectly by deep red camellias. It looks just like a living piece of art. 🌸🌺
I also had the chance to experience the "Chinowa-kuguri" (passing through the sacred straw ring), a traditional ritual to cleanse the mind and body. It was such a luxurious, peaceful moment to recharge my inner energy.

虻田神社。

ここは、
羊蹄山から洞爺湖、有珠山を通り、
噴火湾へと流れる“龍脈”の上にあるとも言われる場所。

静かな森を抜け、
本殿からさらに山道を進むと、
「龍の珠」と呼ばれる神聖な場所へ辿り着きます。

願いを込め、
振り返った先に広がるのは、
鳥居越しに望む内浦湾（噴火湾）の絶景。

自然、祈り、そして大地のエネルギー。
この土地には、
目には見えない豊かさが静かに流れています。

そして今、
期間限定で設置されている「茅の輪くぐり」。

半年間の穢れを祓い、
無病息災を願う、日本古来の神事です。

輪をくぐるたび、
心まで静かに整っていく感覚。

ただ観光するだけではなく、
土地の記憶や精神文化に触れること。

それもまた、
洞爺ならではのラグジュアリーなのかもしれません。

Nestled quietly beside Lake Toya,
Abuta Shrine
is known as one of Hokkaido’s spiritual sanctuaries.

It is said to stand upon a “dragon vein” —
an invisible flow of earth energy connecting
Mount Yotei, Lake Toya, Mount Usu,
and extending toward Uchiura Bay.

Beyond the shrine grounds,
a gentle 15-minute walk through the forest leads to
a sacred place known as the “Dragon Pearl.”

Many visitors come here to offer prayers and wishes,
drawn by the quiet energy of the land.

And when you turn around,
a breathtaking view of Uchiura Bay unfolds beyond the torii gate.

Nature, spirituality, and the pulse of the earth —
all exist here in quiet harmony.

Currently, the shrine also features
the seasonal “Chinowa Kuguri” ritual, held for a limited time only.

Passing through the sacred grass ring is an ancient Japanese purification tradition,
performed to cleanse impurities and pray for health and protection for the months ahead.

With each step through the circle,
the mind grows quieter,
and the spirit feels lighter.

To experience not only scenery,
but also the memory, philosophy, and spiritual culture of the land —

This is the
Toya-Usu UNESCO Global Geopark.

A place where the wisdom of living alongside volcanoes still lives on today.

In 2000,
small earthquakes began around Mount Usu.

One volcanologist, Hiroshi Okada, recognized the signs and predicted the eruption before it happened.

Not simply fearing nature,
but understanding it, respecting it, and preparing for it.

Through that decision and the region’s disaster preparedness,
more than 10,000 lives were protected.

The warmth rising from the ground.
The quiet pulse of the earth beneath your feet.

This place offers more than beautiful scenery.
It carries a philosophy of coexistence with nature.

And for us,
sharing the beauty of this land is only part of the mission.
Another is to pass on the wisdom of living with volcanoes,
and to raise awareness of disaster preparedness for future generations.

ふもとから見上げる、その美しい姿から「蝦夷富士」とも呼ばれる名峰。

いま、その足元には鮮やかなピンクの芝桜が綺麗に広がっています。

この蝦夷富士、山頂まで登るとまた格別で、眼下に広がる洞爺湖や噴火湾（内浦湾）のきらめく大パノラマも本当に息をのむほどの絶景なんですよ。

白、ピンク、そして山の緑。

自然がくれた美しいコントラストが愛おしくて、時間を忘れてずっと眺めていたくなります。

そよ風を感じながら、この贅沢な景色をただ静かに味わう時間。

北海道の春は、心の中をそっと満たしてくれるような特別な魅力がありますね。

キャンバスに描かれた水彩画のように、いつまでも大切に心に留めておきたい、そんな素敵なひとときでした。

Affectionately known as "Ezo Fuji" for its breathtaking silhouette, this majestic peak is now embraced by a vibrant blanket of pink moss phlox at its feet.

While the view from below is captivating, standing at the summit of Ezo Fuji is truly extraordinary.

From the top, a glittering panorama opens up, offering a breathtaking gaze over Lake Toya and Funka Bay.

The harmony of white snow, pink blossoms, and the fresh greenery of the mountain is so lovely that you could simply lose track of time just gazing at it.

Feeling the gentle spring breeze while quietly taking in this magnificent view is a true luxury. Spring in Hokkaido has a special way of gently filling one’s heart with peace.

Much like the watercolor painting on the canvas, this is a beautiful moment I want to cherish forever.
