先日、蔵王温泉では初雪が降りました。
紅葉も見頃を迎え、日によっては紅葉と山々の雪化粧のコントラストをお楽しみ頂けます。
写真は、高見屋旅館の軒下に吊るしている干し柿です。
As winter approaches, we had our first dusting of snow in town this week. The fall foliage is reaching peak vibrancy, and if you’re lucky, you can catch a glimpse of snow contrasting with the beautiful leaves.
Hanging under the eaves of Miyamaso, you can also find curtains of dried persimmon, a fruit grown abundantly in Yamagata. The dried fruit can be used in desserts, teas, and is traditionally eaten on New Years to bring good luck.
