Because many news outlets are reporting this as the “Kumamoto earthquake,” it may give the impression that the entire Kumamoto Prefecture—or even all of Kyushu—has been severely affected. As a result, some travelers are canceling their trips to Kumamoto and other parts of Kyushu.

However, there is no need to avoid traveling to areas that have not been affected by the earthquake. In fact, if your destination is safe, please come and support the local communities. We look forward to welcoming you.

【宿、無償で解放します】

もし身近な方で被災されて家がどんこんされん状態と言う方がいましたら

車で2時間くらい北上して
うちでよければしばらく骨休めしていってください
その場合は宿代なんかもいらないです
（畑の草むしりとか手伝ってもらえたら嬉しいけど、まあやってもやらなくてもどっちでもいいです）

相変わらずの絶景ですし、避暑先として最高だと思いますので少しは心休まるかもしれません

例年なら本当は繁忙期のはずですが夏の日本が外国人に不人気になったのかはわからないですが、絶賛ガラガラ閑古鳥状態ですので遠慮なく！

10人くらいは余裕で行けます。殺到具合をみて無償宿閉じてしまう可能性がありますが、とりあえず遠慮なくどうぞ！

Just behind Sky Tea House, there is a hidden rock with one of the most beautiful sunset views in Yame.

we climbed up together, sat on the rock, and watched the sun disappear behind the mountains.

No crowds. No noise. Just good people, fresh mountain air, and a perfect sunset.

Sometimes, the best moments are the simplest ones.

This is a small mountain village in Yame, Fukuoka.

No crowds.
No ticket gate.
No souvenir shops.

Just rice terraces, cedar forests, fresh air, and the sound of birds.

Many visitors come to Japan searching for places like Kyoto or Tokyo.

But if you slow down and explore the countryside, you’ll discover another side of Japan—one that hasn’t changed much for generations.
