【涙の別れ…のはずが、まさかの3日間連続○○？！😂🍖🎤】
先日、我が家に約半年間滞在していたゲストが、帰国のため旅立ちました。
本当に穏やかで、優しくて、家族みんな彼が大好きだったので、見送った後の家の中は寂しさでいっぱいです……。
実は彼が帰国する前、「最後に日本で絶対にやりたいことって何？」と聞いてみたんです。素敵な思い出をプロデュースしようと意気込んでいた私たちに、彼が返した答えは……
「ヤキニク！！と、カラオケ！！！」
そこからの3日間、我が家のスケジュールは猛烈な勢いで埋まりました。
結果として、【3日連続で焼肉とカラオケに付き合う】という、50歳代の胃袋と喉にはなかなかハードな、でも最高に濃い時間を過ごすことに（笑）。
特に彼は、日本の「スナックバー」でのカラオケが初体験！
昭和レトロな雰囲気とローカルな温かさに、これまでにないほど大興奮して喜んでくれました。あんなに嬉しそうな顔を見られただけで、お腹がはち切れそうになりながらお肉を焼いた甲斐があったというものです。
寂しいお別れにはなってしまいましたが、なんと彼は「8月にまた日本に戻ってくる！」とのこと！
今から再会が待ち遠しくてたまりません。
…あ、次に来たときも、やっぱりまた焼肉とスナックカラオケのハシゴになるのかな？😂今から胃腸を整えて待っていようと思います！

【A Tearful Goodbye... Wait, 3 Days in a Row of WHAT?! 😂🍖🎤】
The other day, our guest who had been staying with us for about six months finally headed back home.
He was so calm, kind, and genuinely loved by the whole family. Ever since we saw him off, the house has felt so incredibly empty...
Right before he left, I asked him, “Is there anything you absolutely want to do in Japan one last time?” We were all geared up to plan the perfect, sentimental farewell memory, but his answer was...
“YAKINIKU!! And KARAOKE!!!”
From that moment on, our schedule for the next three days was completely packed. As a result, we ended up doing a 3-day marathon of barbecue and karaoke—which was honestly pretty brutal on a 50-something’s stomach and throat, but we had the absolute best time (lol).
It was his very first time experiencing karaoke at a Japanese “Snack Bar”! He was absolutely thrilled and fell in love with the retro Showa vibe and the warm, local hospitality. Just seeing how happy he was made every single moment of grilling meat until our stomachs were about to burst completely worth it.
Although it was sad to say goodbye, he surprised us by saying, “I’ll be back in Japan this August!”
We already can’t wait to see him again. ..Oh, but I wonder if his next trip will mean another round of back-to-back Yakiniku and Snack Bar karaoke? 😂 I’d better start prepping my stomach and throat right now!
