「1000年先の未来につなぐ森の文明」
〜縄文から続く自然共生と、麻、和紙、藍の阿波忌部の里 〜
縄文人は、森や木、水、石など、自然界のあらゆるものに命や魂が宿ると考える、**八百万の神（アニミズム）**を持っていました。この自然観は、自然を支配するのではなく、共に生きるという日本人の原点となる考え方です。 この思想は、森や山を神聖な場所として守る「鎮守の森」や、巨樹・巨石を祀る祭祀として、現代まで受けつがれてきました。徳島（阿波）は、縄文から続く自然共生の精神と、麻・和紙・藍に象徴される忌部の里の文化が色濃く残る地域です。
アースデイ阿波2026は、アミニズムに基づく「森の文明」に学びながら、地球環境を自分ごととして捉え、楽しみながら行動へとつなげていく場です。私たちはこの地に息づく知恵を、1000年先の未来へつないでいきます。

“Forest Civilization Connecting to the Future 1000 Years Ahead”
~ Nature Coexistence Continuing from the Jomon Era, and the Village of Awa-Inbe: Home of H**p, Washi Paper, and Indigo ~
The Jomon people held the belief of **Yaoyorozu no Kami (Animism)**, viewing all things in nature—forests, trees, water, stones—as possessing life and spirit. This perspective on nature, rooted in the idea of coexisting rather than dominating it, forms the foundation of the Japanese way of life.
This philosophy has been passed down to the present day through practices like “guardian forests” (chinju no mori), which protect forests and mountains as sacred places, and rituals venerating giant trees and stones. Tokushima (Awa) is a region where the spirit of coexistence with nature, continuing from the Jomon period, and the culture of the Kibe clan village—symbolized by h**p, washi paper, and indigo—remain deeply rooted.
Earth Day Awa 2026 is a place where we learn from the “Forest Civilization” rooted in the concept of Animism, embrace the global environment as our own responsibility, and connect this understanding to action in an enjoyable way. We will connect the wisdom that lives in this land to the future 1,000 years from now.
