What does it really mean to be excellent? At Roussel House, we recently explored this question through an engaging and eye-opening capacity-building session led by an excellent inspirational speaker Samuel Kanja.
The session challenged us to look at excellence beyond performance, to understand it as a journey that begins with personal excellence, grows through professional excellence and ultimately shapes organizational excellence.
Our biggest takeaway- Excellence happens when we bring together and put in action the right skills, the right knowledge and the right values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare espresso-based and specialty coffee beverages
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests
• Take orders accurately and maintain efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and equipment
• Monitor coffee, beverage, and station supplies
• Follow food safety and quality standards
• Support the wider F&B team during busy service periods

Requirements:
• Previous barista experience in a café, restaurant, or hotel environment
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation and bar equipment
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and professional appearance
