There was more to this sighting than we first thought… 🐆

A female leopard named Natito began making her way down from the tree where she had safely secured her meal, but she was not alone. From the bushes below, her cub suddenly appeared and joined her mother, turning an already special encounter into something even better.

In the Mara, sometimes the smallest movement in the grass changes the whole story 🐾✨

A lesson in lion boundaries 🦁

Among the Iseketa Pride, one young male found out exactly where the line was drawn. As young males mature, they can begin testing boundaries within the pride, and this lioness was quick to make hers clear. What followed looked dramatic, but the message was simple. He backed down, moved away and, moments later, life within the pride carried on.

A brief exchange, but a fascinating glimpse into the social dynamics that shape life in a lion pride.

When curiosity comes with a trunk 🐘

Relaxed and completely at ease, this elephant lifted his trunk to gather the scents carried through the air, working out who had entered his world.

The vehicle falls silent, the bull elephant remains entirely unbothered and, for a few moments, you have the privilege of simply sharing his space 🌿✨

For nearly nine years, Wilson has seen Mahali Mzuri live up to its name in countless different ways.

It is found in the vastness of the Mara, in a camp intimate enough to feel entirely your own and in game drives where the outside world seems to disappear.
