Reyna Hotel, a charming medium-sized boutique hotel on the outskirts of Machakos town, is looking for an experienced and hands-on Hotel Manager to oversee our daily operations and drive growth. The hotel features comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens, a restaurant, and a bar, offering guests a warm and professional hospitality experience.
What You’ll Do:
Manage daily hotel operations – front office, rooms, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, and gardens
Lead, train, and supervise staff to maintain high service standards
Ensure excellent guest experiences and handle feedback professionally
Manage finances, cash handling, procurement, and inventory
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
Oversee property maintenance and marketing initiatives
Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost control, and revenue growth
Requirements & Skills:
Proven leadership and people-management experience
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Basic financial understanding and record-keeping ability
Computer literacy (POS systems, booking platforms, MS Office)
Knowledge of hospitality operations and compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Admin, or equivalent experience
2+ years in hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a managerial role
