To make your children more comfortable and less disturbing as you relax at the resort for whatever business, we have installed a trampoline at a safe and convenient place in which children can play and entertain themselves until a time that you will find it difficulty to pluck them off when it comes time to leave. The 26 Park Resort Executive Board announces the following open vacancies at their Resort at Makueni County.

RESORT MANAGER
The candidate should have the following minimum qualifications & experience;
• Certificate in hotel management or F&B in a reputable organization
• Should have worked in a similar position for at least five years.
• Excellent management skills, team player and a team leader.
• Good interpersonal skills and exceptional focus to customer service.
• Computer literate Fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
• Be ready to work under no supervision for long hours.
• Sales and marketing skills will be an added advantage.

RESORT ACCOUNTANT
The candidate should have the following minimum qualifications & experience;
• CPA 2 from reputable organization and good in book keeping
• Should have worked in a similar position for at least one year.
• Trust worthy and with good track record from the previous employer.
• Computer literacy a must with knowledge of at least one accounting software
• Be ready to work under minimum supervision for long hours and weekends.

We take this opportunity to wish our 5 candidates who qualified from The 26 Park Resort to represent Makueni Sub county in the Miss Tourism Makueni county competitions today at Unoa grounds starting from 7pm all the best. A good number of of the 26 park directors will be in attendance to give you the moral support that you may require. In solidarity with the ministry of Trade, Tourism, Industry and cooperatives through ECM Joshua Wambua and Tourism Director Diana Muli who are doing a good job this far, may the best candidate win.

We shall be hosting the Miss Tourism Makueni sub county competitions on 4th October 2014 to choose 5 beautiful and intelligent young girls from Makueni sub county (Constituency) who will represent us in the crowning event on 24th October at the county headquarters in which 30 girls (5 from each sub county) will be competing for the finest. You are invited into this special event which will be graced by the Minister for trade and tourism ECM Joshua Wambua. Daniel Maanzo (MP), Members of County Assembly and other dignitaries & professionals will be in attendance. Book your accommodation early and be there in time to enjoy and become part of the evaluation team as we together discover beauty and talent that hails Makueni county.

This Saturday 30th August 2014, all roads will be leading to the 26 park resort. A one man guitarist will be entertaining our guests from dusk to down with all rich old and new kamba, rhumba and other local hits that will maintain you at the edge of your seat if by good lack you will be seated. There will be free bites from the management served at intervals to to create a firm base for your drinks. Only one room remaining for those who may want to get some rest but tents will be pitched for those who may not have made reservations in good time. Be there and have an opportunity to make contacts with who is who where and interact one on one with the entire 26 park team.

The 26 Park Resort has become the home of the entire family with effect from this August. We are in the process of installing bouncing castle, trampoline, swings and slides for our children within our expansive compound far but a visible distance from the adults. As you play the pool game or take what you take at the comfort of our green park gardens, your children will be socializing with others and making new friends in a modern and safe children's corner. Welcome to the 26 Park resort this season, we will be taking care of you and your entire family.

The 26 Park resort having won the award of the best hospitality destination in the county had also the pleasure of hosting the Makueni Sub county development conference & exhibition on Tuesday this week. 10 carefully selected investors from each of the 7 wards were in attendance and products from the local industries such as locally processed & packaged honey were on display. Banks and other competitors were not left out to display what they do best. Thanks to the minister for Trade & Tourism Mr. Joshua Wambua together with his excellency the Governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana for attending and addressing the conference. Keep up the good job you are doing and thanks once more for believing in the 26 park resort services and style of investment.
