Thirsty zebras come to drink!

Plains zebras are often seen coming to various water sources to drink. they ware often seen wading into the water so that they do not have to bend so much to dring - this despite the risk of crocodiles in the deeper water!!

Happy Hippos!

Hippos are found throughout the Mara, wherever there is water. They mostly feed on grass during the hours of darkness but can sometimes be seen out and about in daytime too!

At Lalashe Mara camp we do have resident hippos in the waterhole in front of camp!!

The Lalashe Mara dining experience!

Our experienced chefs at Lalashe Maasai Mara will always prepare very delicious food!
Our head chef or camp manager will always meet with guests on arrival and discuss what we have on our Menus.

We are very flexible and we can always work with whatever requests there may be - we go bespoke with our meals!

We take care of all requests such as Vegan, Vegetarians, Halal, Gluten free and any other preferences.

When it comes to dining with us we have several set ups during your stay with us, the team will always ensure guests get the best dining experience.

Our dining set up features;:Dining under the stars/Al fresco at our outdoor decks by the pool in the camp, Private live cooking (Our chefs will be present), Bush breakfast/Bush Lunch or Bush dinner out in the open plains or Bushes of Maasai Mara (our bush dinners can be combined with our lovey sundowners).
Our Indoor and Balcony dining areas are also welcoming during the hottest part of the day (Ceiling and floor fans installed for comfort) or during rainy days.
During stays with us the team is always happy to also serve you meals in the room - each of our rooms have private dining areas with the views of open plains of the Mara.
