Say Hello to Ebrahim 👋🏿 who's been at Kenyaways for a lifetime. A record breaking 35 years!!!
Ebrahim first joined us in 1992 as a casual gardener when we were living in Nyali. He later became a full time member of the team, looking after the gardens and maintenance until 2011. After Daniel retired, Ebrahim quietly stepped into the role, becoming the person who knew where every pipe runs, where every key is kept, and what's inside every store
In 2020, his role changed again as he became our housekeeper and, most importantly Tonys carer. Along the way, he has become part of the family.
Anyone who knows the place knows he's indispensable. When something needs fixing or finding, Ebrahim is the first person everyone turns to. He can even tell you if the cat or dog has been fed, if the taxi got lost on the way or if the coconut palms need pruning. If your car suddenly breaks down or springs a leak. Ebrahim appears out of nowhere with the best advice on what to do next.
Behind the scenes, his wife also plays an incredible part,cooking and preparing the meals that keep our staff canteen running every day.
Thirty-plus years of dedication, knowledge, and quiet service have made Ebrahim one of the people who truly holds our world together. We're incredibly grateful to have him as part of both our family and the wider Kenyaways family.
