One thing we’ve learned in the wild: The best safari stories are the ones you never planned for. ✨

The start of a new era ✨

Since 2019, when Valery and Loïc launched Emboo, our spot along the river has been a place where your (and our) wildest dreams turned into reality.

From sunrise game drives to sunset drinks, from laughter over a baby elephant’s cute moves to once-in-a-lifetime surprises (yes… we loved your savanna wedding proposals and weddings 💍). We loved sharing these moments with you in person and via our socials.

Along the way, an exciting partnership with Asilia came to life. Emboo and Asilia share a passion for meaningful travel, and for creating epic guest experiences. Today, while you’re staying with us at Emboo, you’ll see this partnership in action, elevating every stay 🪄 🐘 ✨

Now, it’s time to keep those stories going… just in a new place. You’ll still see the Emboo magic, but now on the socials of 🦓 🦓 🦓 So give Asilia a follow and stay close. Not only to Emboo, but to a whole collection of incredible destinations across East Africa. More places, more stories, more wild moments.

Overheard in the savanna .... "I’ve stayed at Emboo Camp twice now, and every time I arrive, it feels like coming home. There’s so much intention woven into every detail - nothing here feels rushed, generic, or done to impress. You can feel the heart behind it.

What makes this place unforgettable is the people. The team knows your name, your story, and somehow anticipates what you need before you even think of asking. They have this rare gift of making anything possible, yet always with humility and genuine care.

Their approach to safari is the future: fully sustainable, ethical, and rooted in respect - from electric vehicles to thoughtful conservation and female empowerment. It’s refreshing to experience wildlife without leaving a heavy footprint.

And the food… honestly some of the most creative and nourishing meals I’ve had anywhere. Everything is grown in their own garden, and you can taste the love and imagination in every bite.

Emboo also believes in responsible storytelling - not as a concept, but as a way of honoring people and place. Their long-standing relationship with a local Maasai village (home to some of their team) is built on trust and community. Visiting and listening to their stories left me deeply grateful.

If you’re looking for luxury that’s grounded, meaningful, and quietly transformative - this is the camp you’ll keep dreaming about long after you’ve left. I already know I’ll be back again."
