The Federation of Kenya Employers actively represents over 4,000 enterprises who are both direct and indirect members with over 1.2 million employees. FKE has an excellent working relationship with International Organisation of Employers, International Labour Organisation and Business Africa. It enjoys a general consultative status at the International Labour Organization.

The Employer of the Year Awards (EYA) is an annual award by the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) that provides a platform for identifying, ranking and recognizing excellence in Corporate Performance, People Management and Industrial Relations amongst employers in Kenya.

Earlier today, FKE hosted a capacity-building webinar for its members in preparation for EYA 2027. Opened by the Executive Director and CEO of FKE, Ms. Jacqueline Mugo, the webinar provided an opportunity to assess the EYA 2025 by looking at the winners of the different categories, what they did right, and the overall ways participants can improve how they present their best practices and back up their entries with concrete data. The webinar also provided an opportunity for the overall winners to share their success stories.

The FKE Female Future Leadership Program Cohort 25 recently undertook their Board Competence Module and Rhetoric 3 session at Fairview Hotel, Nairobi.

The session provided participants with practical strategies on board competence from effective communication, professional presence and outward appearance, to influencing others, building and presenting compelling arguments, and confidently navigating leadership spaces.

The Female Future Leadership Program is designed to empower women with the skills, confidence, knowledge and networks needed to advance their careers and take up leadership positions.

Through leadership development, mentorship, networking and experiential learning, FFP continues to build a strong pipeline of confident, strategic and future-ready women leaders equipped to make meaningful contributions in their organisations and beyond.
