Samburu women during a rain dance near Ol Lentille. In this case, the women were giving thanks for the unseasonal rains which broke a long spell of drought. Chanting and praying in a dry river bed and stopping at every fig tree, to douse it with milk, as a way of giving thanks.

Thrilling adventure yesterday! We knew a leopard had made its territory close to the lodge because we kept finding its kills. So we decided to try and track it on foot. After an hour following its tracks, it suddenly appeared about 30 meters away from us. Just long enough for a quick glimpse, before disappearing into bush.
