Ol Pejeta is a working cattle ranch, and that's not a contradiction. It's the reason the wildlife thrives here. The ranch maintains water infrastructure across the conservancy year-round, which means reliable sources for elephant, buffalo, rhino and every other species that depends on them. The cattle and the wildlife share the land in harmony.

The conservancy is a living, breathing landscape that brings two worlds together and shows us that there is space for us all.

October stands waiting in the wings and we have scatterings of last minute availability for you if you fancy a private safari on an award winning wildlife conservancy in Kenya's highlands.

The lions are BUSY, the elephants live in rhythm with us in the most wonderful way year-round now, towers of giraffe have been passing through the river line almost daily and herds of rhinos meander confidently across the plains - a rare and incredible sight to behold. We've even spotted a pair of mating leopards across the grassland.

The Summer holidays have come to an end and that always makes us a little sad. Because we all adore having children at The Safari Cottages 🥰 They learn so much from spending time in the bush and it’s amazing to see kids of all ages leave transformed, in one way or another, by their experiences here.
