Four cheetahs. Four days.
In the past days, we’ve witnessed something special in Ololasurai Conservancy — from two shy males on a fresh kill, to two young siblings.
On Friday, we saw two very shy males eating an impala. They have been identified as M175 Osieku and M176 Oserian, two males from Tanzania.
On Monday, we saw another pair, the young cubs of Nabaya, who were raised at Olarro/Ripoi conservancy. They are a male Nalala (collared) and his sister Naanyu.
Cheetahs have always been a rare sight here. Seeing four individuals in such a short time is more than luck — it’s a sign. A sign that conservation efforts are working, that wildlife is returning, and that this ecosystem is finding its balance again.

Cuatro guepardos. Cuatro días.
En los últimos días hemos sido testigos de algo especial en Ololasurai Conservancy — desde dos machos muy esquivos sobre una presa reciente, hasta dos jóvenes hermanos.
El viernes, vimos a dos machos muy tímidos alimentándose de un impala: M175 Osieku y M176 Oserian, procedentes de Tanzania.
El lunes, vimos otra pareja: los jóvenes de Nabaya, criados en Olarro / Ripoi Conservancy — el macho Nalala (con collar) y su hermana Naanyu.
El guepardo siempre ha sido un avistamiento poco común aquí. Ver cuatro individuos en tan poco tiempo es más que suerte — es una señal. Una señal de que los esfuerzos de conservación están funcionando, que la vida salvaje está regresando y que este ecosistema está recuperando su equilibrio.
