It also aims to promote both local and international tourism in the culture-rich Maasailand. It is only 30 Kilometres from the city centre of the Kenya's Capital, Nairobi and 45 Kilometres from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). It's about 40 minutes drive from the city center and about an hr from the JKIA on a free flow of traffic. Ololosokuan has a picturesque nature trail which takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to go round. Ideal for physical fitness. It’s all the way up to the beautiful river Ololosokuan with less water due to Climate Change! The river bed is quite scenic and guys will get a splendid opportunity to take memorable photos. The rocks are a spectacular sight to behold and offer a perfect peak performance challenge! It is also located on the Great Rift Valley adjacent to the famous Ngong Hill, hence a perfect starting point for the hills climbing. For the wildlife lover, Ololosokuan has an abundance of different bird species and wild animals. These include the Turracco, Superb Starling, Common Bulbul, African Pied Wagtail, Vervet Monkeys, Impalas, Baboons, Monkeys and the Rock Hyrax. Giraffes can be spotted using binoculars from among the black acacia down the valley. In the evenings, you can indulge in the rich Maasai culture as young Maasai Warriors provide entertainment. The place is elevated giving the visitors a superb opportunity to view the beautiful sunset with a cool breeze as you enjoy your favourite drinks and Nyama Choma (barbeque) over a mesmerizing bonfire.
