Some cocktails are made to behave. El Bandito was never going to be one of them.

Tequila infused with pili pili and lemongrass, citrus, red peppers, Zanzibar vanilla and sage.

Dusk has fallen over these waters for centuries.

Dhows once crossed the Swahili coast carrying people, goods and stories between distant shores. Today, Musafir holds a different kind of gathering.

Lanterns are lit. Dinner reaches the table. Glasses are poured as the last light disappears over Mida Creek.

The setting has changed. The instinct to gather on the water hasn’t.
