A game drive in Lake Nakuru is never just one thing.

From open landscapes to woodland, lakeshore, and everything in between, each part of the park brings something different.

You might come across rhino in the distance, buffalo moving through the trees, or moments that are quieter but just as memorable.

It’s the variety that makes each drive feel unpredictable.

No two are ever the same.

Kenya isn’t just one landscape.

From the dry, rugged terrain of the north to open plains, lakes, and wide, elephant-filled horizons, each place feels completely different.

We’ve shared four here.

Can you tell which is which?

Tucked away in the Mara, Ngenche offers a more intimate way to experience safari.

Set at the meeting point of two rivers, it’s a place where wildlife is never far and where each day feels closely connected to what’s happening around you.

Game drives begin right from camp, often leading straight into some of the most active wildlife areas of the Mara.

It’s a setting that feels both immersive and quietly removed at the same time.

Would you choose somewhere like this for your safari?

“The best trip we’ve ever taken.”

It’s something we hear often but it never feels routine.

Every safari is different. Every experience stays with people in its own way.

There’s no single “perfect” way to propose.

But being out here, surrounded by open landscapes, with no distractions and nowhere else to be, has a way of making the moment feel even more meaningful.

It might be during a quiet sundowner, a private dinner under the stars, or simply a moment that unfolds naturally during the day.

However it happens, it’s something that stays with you.

If you’re thinking about marking a special moment like this, we’re always happy to help make it feel just right — without taking away from the experience itself.

Would you choose somewhere like this to propose?

Mbweha offers a different kind of safari.

Set within Soysambu Conservancy, it’s not just about game drives, it’s about how many ways you can experience the landscape around you.

One day might take you out in a vehicle, exploring both Soysambu and nearby Lake Nakuru. The next could be on horseback, by bike, or even on a camel, seeing the same environment from a completely different perspective.

In between, there are the moments that slow everything down; bush breakfasts, sundowners, and evenings spent under open skies.

It’s a safari that feels more varied, more active, and a little less predictable.

If you were planning your trip, would you choose something like this?

Mara or Amboseli - which one is right for you?

The Mara is known for its density of wildlife, particularly big cats. There’s a constant sense of movement, and every game drive feels full of possibility.

Amboseli, on the other hand, offers space. Large elephant herds, open landscapes, and a slower pace that allows you to take everything in more gradually.

Both are incredible in their own way. It really comes down to how you want your safari to feel.
Would you choose energy and action, or space and stillness?

Leopards aren’t always easy to find.

They move quietly, stay hidden, and often see you long before you see them. It’s part of what makes every sighting feel a little more special.

Unlike other big cats, they rely on stealth, using cover, height, and patience to their advantage. One moment, there’s nothing there. The next, you realise you’ve been watched the entire time.

It’s not just about spotting a leopard. It’s about noticing one.
And that’s what makes the experience stay with you.

Have you ever seen one in the wild?
