Sandbank Restaurant & Camping is situated at Longset Beach, also known as 4K Beach, a beautiful and calm white sand beach, which is still a hidden gem. Relax at the pleasant atmosphere on the sandbank between the turquoise sea with island view and the nice lake which turns to a river in rainy time. Enjoy delicious Thai & Western Food in the beach restaurant cooked by Sai Chon a Cambodian, which gr

ow up in Thailand and worked more than 5 years as Chef in Koh Chang, Thailand. Stay in comfortable tents with convenient mattresses and view to Lake & Sea and enjoy the community in this place. We will give information about things to do on the island and in the beautiful surrounding area with a lot of other islands. Be active with going to the small island in front or the river in the back with Kayaks or paddle boards. Take a boat trip around the island or to selected beaches with our neighbor and his spacious boat. Ball and Board Games are available, a Dive Shop is just around the corner and next to it you can rent wind surfing equipment and a Catamaran.

200 Meter down the beach you have a massage place and finally in high season you can also party at the After-Hour Bar Sand & Sky, which is just 200 Meter to the other side. They have events every Thursday and Sunday and the day after Full Moon, but people who like it calm should not worry, you don't hear to much from there and they stop after sunset. Last week we went with the Motorbikes to Survivor Beach, Long Beach, Sok San Village and finally for the first time to Love Resort in the East of Koh Rong. On Long Beach we went to Ryta Beach bungalow, a really calm and relaxed place with really white sand. Love Resort is also an interesting place. They have a own little beach and the resort is really clean, so that we have been really surprised. Back with the sunset we enjoyed a great day.

Yesterday we walked with a small group from 4K beach to Coco Beach. A stop at Suns of Beaches Restaurant at Vietnamese Beach, and one at Romdoul/Nature Beach have been helping to recreate. We finished the tour walking back on the „main“ street (still a not paved road) while the sun was setting. All of the passing vehicles (a car and two bikes..) offered us to take us with them. And this was not because they taught they can earn money, they just have been curios seeing foreigner walking there... The walk was about 3hours and all enjoyed it a lot. It was a nice hike with lovely people. Here some impressions:
