SAVING LONELY BEACH
Hi everyone,
Do you remember Lonely Beach — that little slice of paradise on Koh Rong island?
With its white sand, jungle bungalows, and untouched nature, it has been a truly special place for the past 17 years. Dany has lovingly protected it from mass tourism, creating a peaceful space where people could reconnect with nature and enjoy a simple, slow way of life.
Today, Lonely Beach is under threat.
The land has been sold to make way for a large luxury resort. If nothing is done, the beach will be transformed, the team will lose their jobs, and Dany will be forced to leave — along with his 8 dogs.
But there is still hope.
We are currently negotiating to preserve a part of Lonely Beach — enough to keep the restaurant and a few bungalows alive, and most importantly, to protect its spirit. To make this possible, we need to show that we have the financial means to support a new contract and relocate the existing structures.
This is why we’re reaching out to you.
