Surrounded 8 months a year by white sandy beaches, constantly refreshed by the river’s breeze, the island of Koh Trong is some sort of an ideal Cambodia. No cars, but carts, smiling peasants, craggy fishermen and a rich soil that man turned into an orchard, « Koh del Trong bat Cheunchien », “the island where the King lost his ring” is a small paradise. �
The Rajabori invites you to lay down your luggage and discover this world ! The Rajabori is a confidential resort made of 13 traditional Khmer wooden houses located North of the island of Koh Trong in front of the town of Kratie. We created it to allow a deep immersion in an unspoiled part of old Cambodia for travelers fond of nature and discovery. The trip to the resort through the island’s countryside is beautiful but it takes a little time, so we advise those who are in a hurry or turned off by the various manifestations of nature (insects, frogs, etc.) to stay in Kratie, as clearly, Koh Trong island is not for them!

La porte extérieure de notre nouvelle Villa Éléphants est une pièce unique, composée de fragments d’une ancienne porte khmère restaurée, surmontée d’un Ganesh venu d’Inde. Une rencontre entre l’héritage khmer et la spiritualité indienne, à l’image de l’âme de la villa.

🌊 Koh Samseb — l'archipel secret où le Mékong redevient sauvage
Son nom signifie « trente îles », mais Koh Samseb en compte en réalité des centaines : bancs de sable, îlots boisés, forêts inondées… un Mékong encore presque intact, entre Kratie et Stung Treng, au cœur du sanctuaire de faune de Sambo.
Un archipel hors des circuits habituels, où la communauté locale — familles bunong et kuy de trois villages — tente un pari rare : faire du tourisme un outil de conservation plutôt qu'une menace pour la biodiversité.
Dormir sous les étoiles sur un banc de sable au milieu du courant, observer les oiseaux à l'aube, naviguer entre les chenaux… Koh Samseb, c'est une expédition, pas une excursion.
