Happy International Women’s Day! To celebrate, we’d like to introduce you to one of the hard-working women on our team.

Ey Sreyroth, 24, is an assistant accountant at Kabiki and a soon-to-be mother. Before joining the Kabiki team last year, she was working at Maads’ The 240 café. At the time, she was also studying accounting, and says she enjoyed the work as she could meet many different people and having an income to support herself while studying. Before The 240 closed, she was transferred to Kabiki as a front desk staff, and was promoted to the accountant team this year.

Although International Women’s Day is not a big celebration for Sreyroth, she said she is looking forward to her new life as a mother. “Working while being pregnant is challenging, but I’m excited to meet my baby soon. Happy Women’s Day!”

"When we returned to our room every afternoon we forgot that we were actually in the centre of Phnom Penh. I really enjoyed the glamping feel we experienced with the Jungloo 'tent' and will happily book again when we return to the area." - Jakead

"We loved our stay at The Kabiki over New Year. It was a real oasis within the busy capital city. The pool was lovely, the gardens beautiful, the bedrooms spacious and comfy and breakfast delicious! Our whole family (including two six year olds) loved this hotel."

Kabiki - Secret Gardens Hotel

Kabiki is a family-friendly garden hotel located in a quiet corner of Phnom Penh’s historical district, close to the Royal Palace. In our restored period villa and its vast grounds, you will feel like you are in a family vacation home.

After opening our Pavilion heritage hotel in 2006, we realized, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh lacked a resort that would be family-oriented and child-friendly.

The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Pich Street, with its 3,500 sqm of landscaped grounds, seemed ideal. We have planted over 500 native trees around the premises, many of them with descriptive tags to help you to identify them by yourselves.

With its caring, friendly staff and lots of nature for children to explore, Kabiki Hotel is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between forays into Phnom Penh’s popular markets, or cultural and leisure destinations such as the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the Riverside.
