អាងហែលទឹកនេះ គឺជាត្បូងពេជ្រនៃ “យុគសម័យមាស” របស់សណ្ឋាគារឯករាជ្យ ក្រោមការសាងសង់ជាកម្រិតស្តង់ដារអន្តរជាតិដំបូងគេក្នុងព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជាក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៦៣ ។
បច្ចប្បន្ន ការជួសជុលយ៉ាងម៉ត់ចត់ត្រូវបានធ្វើឡើងវិញ ដើម្បីធានាថារចនាបថដើមនៃទសវត្សរ៍ឆ្នាំ ១៩៦០ នៅតែត្រូវបានថែរក្សា។ សព្វថ្ងៃនេះ ទីតាំងប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រនេះត្រូវបានប្រែក្លាយទៅជា “សួនមរតក” ដ៏អស្ចារ្យ អមដោយប្រភពទឹកដ៏ស្រស់ស្អាត និងទេសភាពបៃតងដ៏សម្បូរបែប។ វាបានក្លាយជាទីជម្រកនៃសន្តិភាព និងស្ថាបត្យកម្មទំនើប ដែលផ្តល់នូវបរិយាកាសស្ងប់ស្ងាត់សម្រាប់ការសម្រាក និងលំហែកាយក្នុងសួនរុក្ខជាតិដ៏ស្រស់បំព្រង ☘
This pool is the crown jewel of the hotel’s “𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐞” Independence Hotel by Dara . Completed in 1963 by architects Leroy and Mondet, it was the first international-standard swimming pool in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Currently, meticulous restoration has been undertaken to ensure the 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟎𝐬 aesthetic remains preserved. Today, this historic site has been transformed into a majestic “𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧,” complemented by elegant fountains and vibrant, beautifully lush landscapes. It has become a sanctuary of peace and modern architecture, offering a serene atmosphere for rest and relaxation amidst a botanical haven continuing to inspire, just as it did for the late King Father over sixty years ago ☘
