អបអរសាទរខួបលើកទី ២ នៃការដាក់បញ្ចូលតំបន់ប្រាសាទកោះកេរ ទៅក្នុងបញ្ជីបេតិកភណ្ឌពិភពលោករបស់អង្គការយូណេស្កូ (១៧ កញ្ញា ២០២៤ – ១៧ កញ្ញា ២០២៥)

យោងតាមអាជ្ញាធរជាតិព្រះវិហារ ប្រាសាទកោះកេរស្ថិតនៅលើផ្ទៃដីជាង ៨,០០០ ហិកតារ ដែលរួមមានបុរាណស្ថានជាច្រើន។ ក្នុងនោះមានប្រាសាទធំមួយមានរចនាបថដូចពីរ៉ាមីត។ កោះកេរជាអតីតរាជធានីរបស់អាណាចក្រខ្មែរនៅសតវត្សទី ១០ ដែលបានកសាងឡើងដោយព្រះបាទជ័យវរ្ម័នទី ៤។

Congratulations on the 2nd Anniversary of Koh Ker Temple Complex being inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List (September 17, 2024 – September 17, 2025).

According to the National Authority for Preah Vihear, the Koh Ker site covers more than 8,000 hectares and includes numerous ancient monuments. Among them is a grand temple with a pyramid-like shape. Koh Ker was the former capital of the Khmer Empire in the 10th century, built under King Jayaraman IV.

Pchum Ben Festival - ពិធីបុណ្យភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌ
is one of the most important traditional festivals in Cambodia. It usually lasts for 15 days, starting from the first day of the waning moon in the month of Photrobot (around September–October).

It is a time for Cambodians to pay respects to their ancestors up to seven generations back.

People believe that during this period, the spirits of the dead are released and wander in search of food and blessings from their living relatives.

Offering food to monks is a way to transfer merit to ancestors and bring blessings to the family.

Good morning from Bakong Community Homestay!
As the first light of dawn touched the countryside, we began our day with an early visit to Rolous Market, the heart of daily life in our community. The market comes alive in the morning with the warm smiles of local vendors, the fragrance of freshly cooked Khmer snacks, and the colorful displays of fruits, vegetables, and spices harvested from nearby farms.

Walking through the narrow aisles, we could see how families start their day — from mothers bargaining for fresh fish to children enjoying a sweet treat before school. Every corner of the market tells a story of tradition, community, and the simple joys of village life.

Visiting Rolous Market is more than just shopping — it is an authentic cultural experience that connects us to the rhythm of local living. After this lively morning, we return to Bakong Community Homestay with a deeper appreciation for the people, flavors, and culture that make this place so unique.
