🎄NDCCO x The Drop-Inn – Student Designed T-Shirts 🎨

This Christmas season, we’re excited to launch a special T-shirt collaboration between The Drop-Inn and New Dream Cambodian Children Organisation (NDCCO).

Each T-shirt features hand-designed artwork created by NDCCO students as well as their signed autograph on the back, turning their creativity into something meaningful that supports both the school and the students’ families. With Christmas approaching, this project helps us raise funds to ensure the students can enjoy a successful and joyful Christmas party at the school.

Every purchase directly contributes to NDCCO and provides financial support to the student artist who created the design, helping their family while also supporting the school’s ongoing programs and activities.

At the moment, we have 4 student designs available for purchase with limited stock so get yours fast!
Simply:
• Choose your student’s design
• Select your size and colour preference
• Fill in your delivery address

If we receive a strong and successful number of orders from these four designs, we’ll begin collecting drawings from more students, giving everyone the opportunity to earn money and support their families; also allowing volunteers to directly contribute a donation towards their favourite students and stay connected with them forever through their artwork. Until then, we’ll continue with these four selected student artists.

With fewer tourists visiting Siem Reap, the school has seen a drop in volunteer support, donations, and tour-related contributions – all of which are vital to keeping their programs running for now over 370 children every week.

🛑 Important Update Regarding Current Border Tensions 🛑

We’ve received a lot of questions recently about the situation at the Thai–Cambodian border, and we want to reassure everyone planning to visit, as well as our ex-guests and amazing past volunteers, who have reached out with concern. ❤️

✅ Siem Reap and our surrounding areas remain safe and unaffected by the conflict.
✅ Our hostel and partnered school continue to operate as normal.
✅ We’re monitoring official and trusted sources daily to stay informed and ensure the safety of our guests and community.

While clashes have been reported far from here, near Preah Vihear and Ta Moan Thom temples, there has been no impact on life in Siem Reap.

If you’re planning a stay, a visit to the school, or a tour — everything is running as usual.
Your visit continues to directly support education and meal programs at New Dream of Cambodian Children Organisation and helps keep our mission strong.

We hope for a peaceful resolution from both sides, and an end to any further suffering or violence. We also encourage people on both sides to promote peace, not further conflict or division. Now more than ever, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and education to build a better future.

🌍 Travel With Heart — Make A Difference Beyond Yourself 💚

At The Drop-Inn Hostel, your adventure is more than just ticking off temples and enjoying pool days. It’s about making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most in Cambodia. 🇰🇭✨

This week, we took our biggest group of volunteers yet on a village outreach — delivering essential care packages and much-needed cash donations to struggling families living in deep poverty around Siem Reap.

🚚 Together, we brought:
🍚 Food staples like rice, noodles, and oil — helping families eat for the coming weeks
💵 Cash donations to give them flexibility for urgent daily needs
🎒 Monthly financial support to the children already sponsored last month, ensuring they stay in school, have enough to eat, and move closer to breaking the cycle of poverty.

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsors these kids — your kindness is literally changing the course of their lives. 💛

💛 These outreach trips happen every month, and everyone staying at The Drop-Inn is welcome to come along. It’s raw, real, and something you’ll carry with you forever.
