Adventure at Wild has a habit of turning up everywhere.

Orchids have a quiet way of stealing the show.

Between August and October, these small flashes of colour become some of the rainforest’s most glorious details.

When fallen blooms are found, our orchid conservation programme gives them another chance. They are carefully replanted in the garden to recover before eventually returning to the forest.

Guests can discover them along the Orchid Walk. The trick is not to rush.

You might not expect to meet a king in the middle of the rainforest.

Yet inside King Jayavarman’s Tent, Kate Spencer’s wonderfully imaginative interpretations of the king associated with Angkor’s Bayon temple take their place among the many details waiting to be noticed.

Step outside and the mood changes again, with water below and sunset doing what sunset does best.
