One Tuesday, after dropping my rescue dog Molly at the vet, I saw a young mom at our church thrift shop struggling to decide between $15 sneakers and groceries. She chose groceries, buying only a tiny onesie. Remembering my own tough times, I quietly bought the shoes for her and caught up to give them to her, along with $50 for baby supplies. She was overwhelmed with gratitude.
Then, this morning, three knocks at my door revealed the same woman—now dressed elegantly, holding a gift, and asking if she could come in to explain. (check in the first comment
