In 1998, bored with a government job in Germany, Markus Peschke needed to follow his own spirit of adventure. A trip to Laos gave him a vision.
Braving the tangles of red tape, he opened the Indochina Spirit Restaurant in Luang Phabang.
The restaurant became well known to locals and tourists.
Markus has always loved exploring the remote areas of Northern Laos, and has created unique eco-adventuretours to share with others. He hopes that you will leave Laos with some of the same love.
