PROMOTION!!!!

We have opened our bakery! To get the word out about us , we are selling cakes for 5,000kip per piece!!!! We have Chocolate cake, Vanilla cake, and Banana cake. They are homemade here at our resort by a couple of our staff members. Give them a try! You won't regret it! :)

Hi all,

We haven't posted much because of rainy season, but we are always here. Right now DeeDo's are 2 for 1,000kip. We also got a new boat! Itis 80,000kip per hour to rent. Stop on by if you would like to have a look or rent it out.

New Local Product: Handmade Dolls and Tribal Clothing Sets!!!

These cloth dolls are handmade by village women to help support their families and the surrounding community.

The women are paid directly and fairly for their work based on prices they set themselves. They also proudly understand that some profit is made by this resale, with 50% of the profit going to directly fund community development programs in their area, including education, healthcare needs, etc... and the remaining profit going to indirectly support local villagers by helping pay the salary of local workers at Rivertime Resort. Your purchase helps villagers help themselves and help each other! :)

Each doll comes with a set of "regular" clothes (not pictured... varies widely in style, color, etc), however, the dolls are all the same size, so you can purchase as many interchangeable sets of ethnic clothing as you would like for hours of fun and cultural celebration (see some options in photos below). Currently sewn are 5 different Hmong traditional tribal outfits, and Lao Loum clothing, with Khmu, Ahka, and Tai Dam outfits coming soon.

These dolls are perfect for packing in your suitcase as you travel, giving to your children to play with, and even admiring as a decoration in your home.

Prices vary based on the difficulty level of sewing the outfit... see below for current list of prices... more items to come soon! Ask for additional details or to find out about ordering large quantities.

Boy or Girl Doll (incl a set of "regular" clothing) - 60,000kip/each
Hmong Outfits (Green, White, Lai, Gaw, or Chien)
Boy - 80,000/kip, Girl - 100,000/kip
Lao Loum Outfits
Boy - 70,000/kip, Girl - 70,000/kip
