Our story
A building that dates back to the 60s in the historic Lebanese region of the Cedars, this hotel’s facade faded slowly over the years, and so a renovation ensued. Now, we welcome it freshly revamped, adorned with an intimate decoration where textures and colours dare to juxtapose in harmony.
Charm is found in every room, nook and cranny of this dream hotel, leaving a good first impression on its guests upon entry.
As soon as you walk in, giant posters of Lebanon’s millennial Cedars invite you with their snow-covered branches that the walls. Everywhere else, they are framed and adorn the walls, showing the beauty of the forest of the Cedars of God, one of the most enchanting places on the planet.
Neighbour to a legendary forest, La Maison des Cèdres is situated 1600 meters above altitude in the northern region of Lebanon, where everything is different: the air is pure, the silence is religious and the landscape is astonishing. In attempt to emulate the beauty of the surrounding nature, the interior wooden structures have been repainted in blue-green to combine the sky with the greenery of the trees. Decked out in total vermilion, the lobby reflects the audaciousness of the virgin vines that wrap the facade during the fall season. On the floor, around the fireplace, a multitude of Oriental rugs and a graphic shelf displaying ruby colour ho**ah bases. Only one is in green, a nod to the Lebanese flag.
