See you later, Benny 🌺
Benny has been much more than a manager at María Bonita. She has been our top barista, our entertainer, our TikToker, our problem-solver, and the heartbeat of so many unforgettable moments.
From perfect matcha lattes and cauliflower tacos to tortilla de patatas, Benny knew how to make every guest feel at home. There were funny moments, crazy busy days, accounts that didn’t always add up, and we didn’t really care because the laughter always made up for it. That’s who we are. María Bonita was never just about sales. It’s a business built with heart, where what truly matters is the experience, the people we meet, the stories we share, and the memories we create together.
Anyone who visited us knows that meeting Benny was part of the María Bonita experience.
Today, I would love to say “See you tomorrow,” but instead, I’m happy to say, “See you soon.”
As Benny moves on to continue her important work as an activist in Colombo, fighting for trans rights and helping create a more inclusive world, we couldn’t be prouder.
Thank you for your energy, your kindness, your humour, your dedication, and your huge heart.
You brought warmth, laughter, and life to María Bonita every single day, and your presence will be deeply missed.
