Cooking Classes at The Forestry
With Chandranie & Chandrika

Today we prepared a creamy Coconut-Milk Rice, a Pumpkin & Mustard Seed Curry and a tangy Pol Sambolé (Coconut Sambol), for our Guests this morning.

The afternoon, for some, will be an exciting Elephant Safari in Udawalawe National Park (just 1 Hour away), while the others will continue with Ayurvedic Treatments and River Baths in the natural rock pools.

Learn to prepare your favourite Sri Lankan curries, on gas or wood-fire stoves.

3. Kayaking on the Samanala Wewa (Butterfly Lake)!
We recommend either 5:30AM for Sunrise or 4:30PM for Sunset.

4. Traditional Ayurveda with Doctors from Gampaha Wickramaratchi - Established in 1928.
Abhyanga & Steam-Bed, Shirodaara and Medical Consultations on-site.

5. Hike to Baker's Bend for Sunrise
At 5000ft, the views are quite spectacular from here.

6. Personalized Meal Plans
Based on personal preferences or recommended after Doctor Consultation, The Forestry will provide meals based on specific dietary requirements.
