The Town Hall Meeting, thoughtfully organised by the Housekeeping Department, brought together our team for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and shared experiences. With a carefully curated agenda designed to inspire and engage, the event created a warm and uplifting atmosphere for all who attended.

The programme featured lively dance and song performances, insightful presentations, interactive activities, and moments of laughter and camaraderie, making the gathering both meaningful and memorable.

A highlight of the occasion was the recognition of team members whose dedication, passion, and commitment continue to make a valuable impact across the hotel. We were delighted to honour our Hall of Greatness Highflyers for the month of April, alongside recognising the Employee of the Year and Leader of the Year.

Cinnamon Bentota Beach - Signature Selection proudly hosted a heartfelt Mother’s Day celebration dedicated to the remarkable mothers within the team. The day began with a warm welcome, creating a beautiful space filled with appreciation, joy, and togetherness.

From inspiring words shared by the Resident Manager and Human Resources Manager to a soothing spa experience designed for relaxation and care, every moment was thoughtfully curated to make our mothers feel truly valued. A touching highlight of the celebration was the emotional surprise video featuring heartfelt messages from their children, bringing smiles, laughter, and happy tears to the occasion.

The celebration became even more memorable as children arrived with handmade cards and flowers, followed by the surprise reunion with their families. Filled with love, warm embraces, and unforgettable moments, the atmosphere reflected the true spirit of motherhood and family.

The day concluded with a delightful lunch buffet, thoughtful gift presentations, and heartfelt appreciation extended by the Management team and Heads of Departments, honouring the dedication, strength, and care these incredible women bring each day.

Avurudu this year was a truly special celebration, bringing our team members together to share in the joy of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. It was a day filled with warmth and connection, strengthening our sense of unity, belonging and shared happiness across the entire team.

A range of traditional Avurudu games was organised, drawing enthusiastic participation and creating a lively, festive atmosphere. One of the most memorable highlights was the musical hat game, where over 250 team members took part with remarkable energy and spirit. Seeing the entire team of Cinnamon Bentota Beach - Signature Selection come together in a single moment of fun made it uniquely special and truly unforgettable.
