Sunmark Micro Greens We are a company specializing in growing micro greens, sprouts and petite greens in Sri Lanka since 2008. We supply our produce to hotels and supermarkets.

Our products are 100% locally grown and are free of pesticides and fertilizer. What is Micro Greens? The shoots of salad vegetables such as rocket, celery, beetroot, etc., picked just after the first leaves have developed. Microgreens contain considerably higher levels of vitamins and carotenoids—about five times greater—than their mature plant. What is it used for? A microgreens are used both as

a visual and flavor component or ingredient primarily in fine dining restaurants. Chefs use microgreens to enhance the attractiveness and taste of their dishes with their delicate textures and distinctive flavors. Smaller than “baby greens,” and harvested later than sprouts, microgreens can provide a variety of leaf flavors.
