Having been bitten by the travel bug, Vajira Wijesuriya – that’s me, had a bright idea. Why not give similarly ‘infected’ beings a chance to experience it? Travel like I did, and get to know what others don’t? So here I share my story; giving you a glimpse of my little island, to tempt you to explore this paradise I call home. I had travelled the world over, and then I realized that I hadn’t seen
and experienced enough of my own country. I wanted to see my little island in its ‘every day wear’. To focus on what’s beyond the surface, what others don’t often talk about – and there was a lot of it. Those hidden beaches, unseen jungle trails, untouched mountain ranges and the teeming wild life made my island more of a paradise; and being pocket sized, it hardly took anytime at all to get from one to the other. I want you too, to experience my little island and fall in love with Sri Lanka the way I did; to see as much as possible at an affordable price. I now have under my wing a young and energetic team who are driven by the motto “get you to fall in love with our little island as much as we do, and make you want to come back, again and again”. And of course, we want you to have a good time discovering our country and our people, so we’ll make certain that you do and once you’ve travelled with us, you become a part of us.
