Get better skin with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA)

What it does: Researchers have pinpointed how both AHAs and BHAs work down to the molecular level. They operate as organically powerful exfoliators, breaking the bond between the surface layer of dead skin cells and the fresh skin beneath. - when dead skin builds up our spots look darker, our wrinkles look deeper, and our skin does not reflect light. Implementing a product with these naturally occurring compounds is a necessity for flawless skin.

All Ella Baché products contain atleast one AHA and/or BHA

How to look for them: Some products will say AHA/BHA on the label, but you can also look for frequently used AHAa such as lactic acid or glycolic acid as well as Salic acid a common BHA to treat acne/ blackhead prone skins

Warning: Daily use of a product with at least an SPF of 30 is very important when using either AHA- or BHA-containing products because they render the skin slightly more sun sensitive due to a thinned dead skin cell layer. But this is a small price to pay for skin that literally glows with health.

Monday Myth busting: If my tinted moisturizer or foundation has SPF, I don't have to worry about a separate layer of sunscreen.

FALSE: you’re usually not applying enough tinted moisturizer or makeup to get the full degree of SPF stated on the bottle. Make sure you’re using a generous layer of sunscreen every day—even if it's gloomy these days with the seasonal rains.
